As Tencent Cloud International continues expanding across Southeast Asia, we are seeking passionate and driven undergraduate students to join our Malaysia team as Business Development Interns.

This

role

provides hands-on exposure to cloud sales in the Malaysia market, supporting prospecting efforts, industry research, and customer engagement initiatives.

You will work closely with experienced sales professionals to understand Tencent Cloud’s product portfolio, competitive positioning, and go-to-market strategies within the local and regional landscape.

that lay the foundation for a successful career in cloud sales and business development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and gather customer insights across key industries in Malaysia such as financial services, retail, gaming, internet, and enterprise sectors
• Identify and approach potential customers through multiple outreach channels including email, calls, social platforms, and event participation

Collect and analyze customer IT infrastructure and cloud adoption information to support opportunity qualification and pipeline development

• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and support sales pipeline tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with marketing teams to support outbound campaigns, events, and industry engagement activities
• Assist in preparing sales materials, value propositions, and preliminary solution discussions under guidance from senior sales team members
